What is Moonbow Isles?

Is Moonbow Isles free?

It is free to start. Boreal and Tidal Isles, with eighteen stages and two bosses, are free, and so is the Daily Sky. One in-app purchase opens the other ten islands, to keep.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. It is built natively for Apple platforms with Swift, SwiftUI and Metal.

Does my progress sync between devices?

Yes. Your journey, stars, best scores, Wishstones, the Star Shop, achievements and preferences sync through iCloud. Device settings such as ray tracing stay on each device.

Is the purchase shared with my family?

Yes. The full game is shared through Family Sharing, and Restore Purchases brings it back on any of your devices.

Can I play with a controller?

Does Moonbow Isles work offline?

Yes, you can play offline. Game Center scores wait on your device and are sent when you are back online.

Is it suitable for children?

It is a gentle game made in the spirit of a toybox, with friendly characters, no ads and no chat. Purchases go through Apple, so Ask to Buy and Screen Time apply.

What languages does it support?

English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Italian, Turkish, and Portuguese for Brazil and for Portugal.

What is the Daily Sky?

A free board that changes every day and is the same for every player. It visits a different island each day and has one of six weathers.

Does it use ray tracing?

It can. On devices whose GPU supports ray tracing, you can turn it on in Settings, with a Performance mode and a Quality mode. It starts off, and without it the game draws every island with screen-space light.

Does Moonbow Isles collect my data?

No. The game collects no personal data and does no tracking. Saves stay on your device and in your own iCloud. See the privacy policy for details.
