How the Prism explains it
Flower buds
Some gems are cupped in thirsty flower buds. A match beside a bud gives it a sip of dew, and when it has drunk its fill it blooms, frees its gem and splashes the buds beside it, which drink too!
Bumble pals
Bumble pals doze on the tray. They can't be matched, but they fall and swap like gems. A match beside one wakes it up, and it zooms to the nearest bud, blooms it, and buzzes home to the hive!
The boss
Queen BuzzbelleThe Honeyed Monarch
Every few moves her scout dances the waggle dance over a golden run, a move ahead of the pollen. Clear a gem on the run to shoo the scout home and ruffle the queen. Two shoos take a heart.
